Guadalajara Metro Line 3, Mexico

The Metro Line 3 in Mexico is the expansion of the Urban Electrical Train System in the Guadalajara Metropolitan area through the Zapopan, Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque (Guadalajara Diagonal Corridor). The line is a double-track section running 13 miles including 3.4 miles of tunnel and 9.2 miles of viaduct with 18 stations.

SENER has been involved since the project’s inception and has led different design stages including the development of pre-investment studies, the preliminary design and detailed final design. The firm has also overseen alignment, station architecture and implementation, electromechanical installations, tunnel structural design, track design, communication and control rail installations.
