Stanislaus River Bridge Project, California
The Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) is one of California’s most popular commuter rail services. It links the Central Valley with Silicon Valley. As part of the expansion of the ACE to Stanislaus, Merced and Sacramento counties, SENER was selected to design the Stanislaus River Bridge, a new single-track concrete bridge crossing over the Stanislaus River on the Fresno Subdivision.
The new bridge will be a 760-feet long 20-span structure with two abutments at each end of the bridge and 19 piers between the span sections and two supporting piers in the river.
The project includes the following disciplines:
Structural engineering and bridge design
Geotechnical investigations and hazardous materials assessment
Permitting and Environmental support
Coordination with Union Pacific Railroad
Hydrology and hydraulics analysis
Utilities coordination
Land surveying and right of way support
